Girl Scout board game? Let’s play.
Handmade Girl Scout uniform.
Very old Brownie beanie and patches.
Mary Bailey and Vivian Vieweger, Girl Scouts, relax in front of tent, Texas, 1926.
I found this photo this summer. The back reads:
“Miss Edith Bookhardt, riding instructor
Old Mill Camp
Kentucky, one of the favority mounts of campers
Picture taken by Miss Emily White
1939”
The front, barely visible on the scan reads:
“Best of luck-
Edie Bookhardt”
Old Mill Camp was a Girl Scout camp and is now closed, but was formerly located in North Carolina, and that’s about all I know about it. I love how the riding instructor autographed it for a camper!
